Dhol Service

Planet DJ Productions is proud to be able to supply some of D.C. Metro's finest Dhol Players!  Along with the DJ service, a live Dhol performance is offered to our clients by one or all of our dhol players.

The Dhol player(s) can perform solo and alongside the DJ at any event to make the environment very lively. They provide an excellent performance, illustrating the sound of the dhol and putting the audience through a number of feelings. The Dhol Players also get the audience involved and make them feel as if they are a part of the performance.

The 'Dhol' is a traditional Indian percussion instrument, which is believed to have originated from the Indian state of Punjab. 

For many years the Dhol has been recognized as the 'backbone' of Bhangra music, commonly associated with the people of Punjab which over recent years, through various forms and means, has achieved recognition on a worldwide scale. 

Nowadays these talented Dhol Players are used in a variety of roles primarily during weddings and other related functions. The main roles have included guiding the Bride and Groom into a venue of celebration and performing 'live on stage' during a function to solo rhythms or backing tracks. 

Garba / Raas

May it be live or CD, Planet DJ Productions can provide you with both.  We have live groups to provide your event with upbeat garba-raas entertainment.  If your preference is pre-recorded music, we can also provide you with that.

Live Dancers/Performers

If you need people to jumpstart your party, we have dance floor warmers. If you would like our dance groups to perform for your occasion, they can do that as well. Whatever you wish, they are here to please and make your event memorable.

Live Singers

On our staff we have singers with the sweetest voice.  With their musical talent they can bring life to your party.

Karaoke Sound

If your guests are in mood to sing, bring them on.  Let them express their musical talent.  We can provide you with many of the songs that are sung by everyone these days.

Planet DJ Productions has partnered with one of the most talented and detail-oriented wedding planner who can make all your wishes come true.
